Of all the lemony herbs, lemon verbena has one of the most citrusy scents when dried. It is full of delicious aromatics that support the digestive process.
My favorite way to prepare lemon verbena is by making it into a tea, either by itself or with other herbs. I have also made into a simple syrup to add to cocktails, and one time I used my lemon verbena simple syrup to drizzle over a lavender cake and it was delicious! Lemon verbena would also pair well with fish or poultry in a seasoning blend.
